The delay in the filing of some vacant top federal positions, in which some civil servants are holding forte in acting capacities have been attributed to over-ambition and relentless hatred of one another by people from different sections of the country.

Referring to why the federal government is yet to appoint substantive heads of 12 Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), President Goodluck Jonathan Wednesday said the bane of  the federal
civil service is lack of accommodation of each other by the disparate collection of  workers and citizens jostling for plum jobs in the name of their states or ethnic groups.
