President Goodluck Jonathan has ordered for a thorough review of the circumstances that lead to the deportation of hundreds of female pilgrims by the Saudi Arabian authorities.

The president revealed this Thursday in a Sallah message reiterating his administration’s commitment to the provision of purposeful leadership as he felicitates with Muslims in the country who Thurday celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir.

He expressed worry that “although the problem was eventually resolved with the positive intervention of the Federal Government, I have ordered a thorough post mortem of the incident with a view to ensuring that our Hajj airlift operations are never disrupted by such problems in future and that no Nigerian pilgrim is ever subjected to such traumatic experience in the Holy Land again.”
