Governor Jonah David Jang

What was supposed to be a presentation of Plateau State 2013 Budget of Continuity to the state House of Assembly by Governor Jonah David Jang ended up in humiliation, as no fewer than two government officials were molested and beaten by angry workers, who protested the non-payment of their seven months salaries.

Also, the budget, which was meant to be presented to a 24-member House, ended with only nine members, including the Speaker, Rt. Honourable John Clark, who was smuggled into the Assembly Complex by his Chief Press Secretary, Mrs. Nandak Chinle, in her car, managing to listen to the presentation with divided attention, and under the stern watch of security operatives.
