Governor Jonah Jang of Plateau State has alleged fresh plot to launch another attack on the state.

He said    that his government had received security report that the Fulani mercenaries are planning to launch another attack on the state and charged the people to brace up and defend their communities against any unwarranted attack.

The governor, who urged the people to be vigilant, added that “if you bring all Nigerian Police to Plateau State, they cannot protect everybody; so we must protect ourselves; we have the constitutional right to protect ourselves, we would no longer allow anybody to come and slaughter us”

He  has  also alleged conspiracy against the state at the federal level by some people in authority using the crisis in the state to fan ember of hatred against the citizens of  the state by denying the people employments and other benefits.

Jang, who was addressing stakeholders on the Plateau  revealed that some people at the federal level have made it a deliberate policy to discriminate against the Plateau in giving out employments.

"We have noticed a lot of discrimination, especially in terms of employment at the federal level. Some people have decided to make a deliberate policy and action to discriminate against Plateau. Even when they see you with Plateau State plate number, they want to discriminate against you on the basis of being a Plateau man" he said.
