The  Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Admiral Ola Sa'ad Ibrahim has directed the Services Headquarters to replace with immediate effect the Commandant, Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC) Jaji, Air Vice Marshal Ibrahim  Kure and the Corps Commander, Infantry also located in Jaji, Major General MD Isa.

Their replacement Saturday is a fallout of the investigation by the Board of Inquiry raised by the Defence Headquarters to unravel the circumstances that led to the bomb explosion which rocked St Andrew’s Protestant Church at the Jaji Military Cantonment in Kaduna State last Sunday.

It would be recalled that Ibrahim visited Jaji after bombers, suspected to be members of the Boko Haram sect used two vehicles, a Toyota Camry and Volkswagen Golf, to detonate their bombs 10 minutes apart after church services at St. Andrew’s Military Protestant Church, killing 11 people and injuring 30 others.
