There is no letup in the number of shows being churned out by Nigerian event promoters, regardless of the time of the year. With demand for well-packaged high-end shows soaring, the Cecil Hammond-led Flytime promotions – famously associated with the end –of- year Rhythm Unplugged show - has two lined up for the beginning of March.
First is the “IYANYA vs DESIRE Album Launch Concert” billed for March 2 at the Eko Convention Centre, Lagos. As has become the practice for top Nigerian artistes, Iyanya would be launching a much-anticipated album after hugely successful singles like “Kukere” and “Your Waist” with the support of industry leading acts. Some of those to perform on the day include Dbanj, MI, WizKid, Tiwa Savage, Timaya, Flavour, Davido, Seyi Shay, MAY D, Bracket, Vector, ICEBERG and Lola Rae.
A week after, on March 10 at the same venue, it will be the Last Man Standing comedy concert with Bovi titled Man on Fire.
