Beyonce Knowles is said to be moments away from giving birth it has been reported

Daily Mail

She concealed her pregnancy for months before revealing her baby bump at the MTV Music Awards in August.

But now Beyoncé is said to be moments away from giving birth to her first child.

Nurses at New York’s St Luke’s Roosevelt hospital are said to have been told to prepare for a celebrity VIP.

It is thought the 30-year-old singer and husband Jay Z could be welcoming a child yesterday according to MediaTakeOut.com.

The website reports that the half the floor of the hospital’s Labour and Delivery Suite has been booked by the singer, although the hospital has not confirmed the claims.

Beyoncé is thought to have reached the nine month mark in her pregnancy and in a clip from her Live at Roseland DVD she said: ‘Hello! It's September 23rd … Right now I’m actually shooting the video for 'Countdown' and I’m six months pregnant, pretending that my stomach is flat in body suits.’

That would mean that Beyoncé  is set to give birth any day now.

A spokesperson for the singer was unavailable for comment.

Beyoncé's baby may not have been born just yet but it has been the source of speculation for months.

In October the singer sparked rumours that she was wearing a prosthetic belly after her stomach appeared to collapse as she sat down during a live TV appearance in Australia.

Earlier this month the Love On Top singer labelled the reports 'ridiculous', and told Katie Couric that she didn't let the rumours affect her.
