Following the ruling of the Federal High Court in Makurdi  ordering the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to  reinstate two state House of Assembly constituencies in Benue State within fourteen  to sixty days, the electoral body is still in confusion on the next step to take on the issue.

The Resident Electoral Commissioner, Alhaji Baba Abba Yusuf, who  disclosed this to journalists in his office Wednesday, said INEC was yet to take any decision on the matter.

The people of the affected constituencies through a group called G10  had called on INEC to conduct election into the re-instated constituencies.
