Governor Rochas Okorocha,

Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, has said his performance within one year in office has automatically foreclosed the chances of ‘boys and mediocres’ from occupying the exalted governorship position of the state.

Okorocha, who stated this during an interactive session with Leaders of Okigwe local government area  in Government House, Owerri , posited that having raised the bar in governance, it would be a huge task for anyone to aspire to govern the state.

He said: “Let me state it clear before you that with what I have achieved within one year, it will be difficult for anyone to aspire to become governor. “
