A new executive committee will emerge at IBB International Golf and Country Club, Abuja on April 28 when the 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held.

The AGM will also result in the composition of a new executive committee that will be saddled the affairs of the golf section for the next 12 months.

Tony Azogu, a lawyer, is angling to take over from Dr Peter Deshi, as the captain of the golf section for the next 12 months.

If Azogu, who is currently the vice captain succeeds, he will be sworn in to oversee the activities of the committee for the next 12 months following the dissolution of the committee for 2011.

The AGM will adopt the minutes of the 13th AGM held on April 30th of last year as well as the reports of Deshi and the auditor for last year

In addition, the AGM will adopt the budget for the 2012 year and authorize the board of trustees to fix the auditor’s remuneration.
