An Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) governorship aspirant in Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Abraham, Wednesday promised to create jobs for 40,000 citizens of the state if he emerges, the party candidate and win the October 20, governorship election.
Abraham disclosed this while receiving some defectors from the Labour Party (LP) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ACN at Ikare, headquarters, Akoko North East local government area.
The defectors who were led by two chieftains of LP, Alhaji Abu Kolade, and a local government LP chairmanship aspirant, Mr. Olabode Bakare, claimed that they decided to defect to ACN following the impact of Abraham in the community.
Kolade said: “Students have been benefiting from Abraham’s scholarship for the past 10 years, some of them are now in overseas while some are in top positions. He also donated building materials when a rain caused havoc in the community.”
