Fans watching the UEFA League at a Heineken Champions Planet
After 16 days of sharing the great experience of the UEFA Champions League 2011/12 season, the Heineken Champions Planet comes to a glorious end Saturday with the final match of the competition.
For almost three months, visitors to the Heineken Champions Planet have witnessed the proceeding of all the 44 matches in the knock out stage of the competition. This Saturday, when the final match of the season will be on display between Bayern Munich and FC Chelsea of England, it will be a special night to remember going by series of activities lined of for all visitors coming the premium viewing experience on the up scale Victoria Island, Ikoyi Lagos.
According to the Senior Brand Manager Heineken, Jacqueline van Faassen, she disclosed that the event is tagged 'Night of the Champions' is expected to bring together approximately 250 guests including celebrities from the both the entertainment world and prominent former football stars that have played for the national team and the UEFA Champions League.
“Every participant since February have been looking forward to this great moment, it’s the night of all nights and all the visitors for this grand occasion are champions in their own right and will have a long lasting memories of all the events lined up for the night,” she said.
She confirmed that all the five lucky Nigerian consumers sponsored by Nigerian Breweries plc for the final match in Munich, Germany left the country Friday night via KLM and are expected to return on Sunday.
On match day, the touring Nigerians with other Heineken family will go on tour of Munich spot once enjoyed by German Royals and other locations before the commencement of the final match later in the day.
However the excitement of the final match will not be limited to the five lucky Nigeria in Munich, Germany alone following the series of activities lined up for all the guests visiting the Heineken Champions Planet that will climaxed 'After Match Party' experience to round up the whole ceremony.
Activities of the day will commence from 6; 00 pm with one hour showing of clips of past matches, goals scored and Heineken TVC will be aired on all screens in the house with saxophonist playing soft music on display as guests arrive.
Aside unlimited entertainment for all the guests, trendy dressed hostesses will give out packs to all guests after the match and thereafter great fire works display will come for the final dance party to take centre stage.
This present activation commenced last September with the group stage matches and the knockout stage took off in February. All the 96 group stage matches on schedule were captured by guests and consumers invited from major cities across the country.
