Unknown gunmen  Friday killed two people in Zango area,  a suburb of Bauchi metropolis in Bauchi Local Government area of Bauchi State.

Police Public Relations Officer ASP Hassan Mohammed Auyo confirmed the incident to our Correspondent in an interview ,

He said three people on motorcycle  attacked a shop owner and killed him instantly. The gunmen  also   shot one person sitting together with the shop owner in his stomach. The victims  were taken to the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital where they were  pronounced  dead.

ASP Auyo said Police had commenced investigation in to the incident and assured that very soon the suspect will be apprehended. The Police  advised  the general public to be security conscious and report any suspicious character to the Police for necessary action.
