Kano State Police Commissioner, Ibrahim Idris

The All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) member at the Kano state House of Assembly representing Gaya constituency, Alhaji Danladi Isa Kademi has been shot dead by unknown gunmen.

The lawmaker, who was the former council Chairman of Gaya Local Government and also state Chairman of ALGON during the regime of former Governor Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, was shot while driving along the Eastern bye pass road in Kano late Friday evening.

While Kano State Police Spokesman, ASP Musa Magaji Majia confirmed the killing, he, however, said details are still sketchy, but promised to communicate the details once he gets them.
