Chief Edwin Clark
A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Sokoto State, Alhaji Muhammad Dangogo, Friday blamed the Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Mr. Ahmed Gulak and Chief Edwin Clark for misleading and creating enemies for President Goodluck Jonathan,
warning that such advisers will ruin him. He also said no amount of intimidation by the PDP national chairman, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, would make Governor Aliyu Wamakko and his supporters in the state to leave the party.
Speaking in an interview with THISDAY in Sokoto yesterday, Dangogo maintained that Gulak and Clark were creating more enemies for the President by their unguarded utterances and divisive tendencies ahead of 2015 election.
Dangogo, who is the Chairman of the Forum of PDP chairmen in the 23 local government areas of the state, specifically described Clark as a tribalist, who engaged in politics of ethnicity without realising that Jonathan was elected by all Nigerians irrespective of tribe and religion, saying the octogenarian should quit politics and look after his health. "Clark is an old man who should quit politics and look after his health.
