Governor Olusegun Mimiko                     

A group known as Iroko Youth Liberation Vanguard has called for mass support for the re-election of the Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, in the upcoming governorship poll , saying re-electing him will help fast-track development in the state.

In a statement issued after the Labour Party (LP) rally at Arigidi yesterday, the group Director-General, Mr. Adams Hamzat, said the governor’s re-election was certain  as the group were mobilising to deliver “one million reserved votes” for him.

“We have seen the focus and tenacity of purpose in the last four years in the state. We have also seen the array of programmes already put in place in the last four years and it is evident that Mimiko has done well and will now require another four years to consolidate on the socio-economic development of the state. “
