Tell us about your background?
I was born in Benin, Edo State. I was not really born with silver spoon - or any spoon for that matter. I had to find the spoon myself. l grew up in what we call a family house with cousins, uncles, aunts and grandparents but still had the discipline of going to school and making sure I did my home work. I attended public schools on private environments and it was not easy at all because I had to try to fit in with the other kids around who were attending private institutions. My mum was a school teacher and my dad was a professional footballer who later became a coach and I have two brothers with whom we tried to do everything together. I attended Agbodo Model Primary School, Block B, Edo College Secondary School and University of Benin where I graduated with a BA in international studies and diplomacy. When I was in school, I used to say that when I graduate I would work in an oil company; but when I graduated, I couldn’t find groundnut oil company to work with. That was when I knew I needed to hold entertainment strongly.
