Barely 24 hours after Federal Government ended the state of emergency in four states including Borno State, some gunmen suspected to be members of Boko Haram struck Thursday at the popular Monday market in the troubled city of Maiduguri killing four traders.

THISDAY gathered from a source at the market that all the victims were Igbo traders. When contacted, spokesman of the Borno Police Command, DSP Gideon Jibrin, told journalists that he was yet to receive report on the
killings.
