The Financial Market Dealers Association (FMDA) has concluded plans to hold its 21st Delegates' Conference and Annual General Meeting tomorrow.
A statement from the association said the event which holds in Lagos, would be used to assess performance of the financial market.
“As is our tradition, the event will evaluate the impact of the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) in the operating and regulatory environment and its inherent impact on Nigerian financial markets with a view to broaden and deepen the market under the broad theme: “Sustainable Market Development: The Nigerian Situation.”
“The AMCON bailout and the Nigerian Economy will come under intense scrutiny by experts in the industry amongst whom is Chief Consultant, BAA, Dr. Abiodun Adedipe, and Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Financial Derivatives Company Limited, Mr. Bismarck Rewane.”
In addition, it said that attention would also focus on the financial markets and in particular the Nigerian Situation.
“The highlight of the event will be the election of new helmsmen to pilot the affairs of the Association and the swearing-in,” it added.
