The U-20 Men National Team, known as Flying Eagles, trained at the National Stadium, Dar es Salaam on Friday afternoon ahead of Sunday’s 2013 African Youth Championship qualifying match against the Ngorongoro Stars of Tanzania.

On Tuesday, the African champions lost 0-1 to their Rwandese counterparts in a friendly at the Stade Regionale de Nyamirambo, Kigali, but Head Coach John Obuh and leader of delegation, Chris Green have assured that the team has forgotten the loss and will be ready to fire on all cylinders against the Tanzanians on Sunday.

Sunday’s match will kick off at 3.30pm Tanzania time, which will be 1.30pm in Nigeria. The winner on aggregate will confront the winner of the fixture between Congo and South Africa’s U-20 teams for a place at the 2013 African Youth Championship in Algeria.

The Confederation of African Football has picked Kenyan referees to be in charge of Sunday’s match. Moses Ojwang Osano is the Centre Referee, with compatriots Peter Keireini, Elias Kuloba Wamalwa and Thomas Onyango as 1st Assistant, 2nd Assistant and 4th Official respectively.

The Match Commissioner is Mr. Charles Masembe, a former FIFA referee from Uganda.
