To help curb fraud in organisations, an indigenous firm, Farsight Consulting Services, has unveiled FinTrack ERP software solutions into the Nigerian market.
Speaking at a forum in Lagos, Managing Partner, Farsight Consulting, Mr. Bimbo Abioye, said the system would help the financial, pensions, tax and other corporate institutions run their businesses efficiently.
Speaking further, he explained that the application has been his company’s major focus since they started operation few years back and has kept on going deeper in core business applications.
“FinTrack software offers complete International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) solution end-to-end. These include IFRS calculation engine; IFRS reports, IFRS disclosures and group consolidation platform. It has built reputation in financial services industry as software that works even in environments where other options have failed,” he said.
Abioye also pointed out that with the new software, organisations would be able to handle complex situations.
“We are on patriotic mission to save businesses in Nigeria from fraudulent exploitation orchestrated by foreign software vendors and their Nigerian sales men through sales of sub optimal software,” he said.
Continuing, Abioye maintained that his firm’s belief that with software, the country would cease to be a dumping ground for non-functional applications from abroad.
He called on both public and private organisations to make use of the software, which he stressed his company would help to deploy, and noted that it would help to re-classify and remap general ledgers in line with IFRS reporting standards and issues that affect organisations.
“Some software deals with only one out of many issues leaving you to figure out what to do on many other issues,” Abioye added.
