Fidelity Bank Plc said it has been adjudged the ‘Best Contributing Employer in Human Resource Development’ in 2011 by the Industrial Training Fund (ITF).

A statement from the bank at the weekend said the organisers of the disclosed that it was nominated for the award primarily because of its commitment to training and development.

Receiving the award on behalf of the bank, Chief Human Resources Officer, Fidelity Bank, Napoleon Esemudje thanked the organisers for working assiduously towards the growth of the industry.

He said that the award shows the commitment of the Board and management of the commercial bank to improve the welfare of staff members but also achieve professional excellence and brand image in Fidelity Bank.

“These are not only strong endorsements but also worthy acknowledgment of the Fidelity brand from internationally renowned outfit,” he said.

Earlier, the Great Places to Work Institute (GPTW); a United States based global research outfit had named Fidelity Bank the fifth best Place to Work in Nigeria. Fidelity had also won several other awards recently.
