As part of arrangement to mark its 25th anniversary next year, Fidelity Bank Plc yesterday announced a series of activities which include plans to reward its customers through a savings promo.
To this end, customers and other members of the public who either open savings account with them within the period or add money to their existing accounts with the bank.
General Manager in charge of Lagos branches, Fidelity Bank, Mr. Obioha Obiagwu, who addressed journalists in Lagos, disclosed that among items to be won are 25 Hyundai Accent cars, N25 million cash, 250 Generator sets, 250 Blackberry smart phones.
According to Obiagwu, instant prizes for people who open accounts or top up their existing accounts include DSTV Driftas, Genesis Cinema tickets, notebooks and biro pens. He pointed out that the promo tagged ‘Cars and Cash Savings Splash’ is one of the bank’s ways of appreciating her numerous customers who have remained faithful and loyal to the bank.
Speaking further on the promo offerings, he said that the promo encourages the members of the public to open savings account with Fidelity Bank with a minimum deposit of N20, 000 or top up existing accounts with incremental N10, 000 to be eligible for the monthly draw.
“The savings campaign is also to encourage savings culture amongst Nigerians of all age brackets. In an environment like Nigeria where access to funds is minimal, individuals must cultivate the habit putting something aside for the future. Someone that has already saved something stands a better opportunity to borrow from a bank or other sources than one who does not have savings at all,” he added.
