All sections of the third Mainland Bridge will be open to traffic from Tuesday, October 30 this year as scheduled by the contractor, Borini Prono, the Federal Ministry of Works have said.
The Director, South-west, Federal Ministry of Works, Ejike Mgbemena, said the Minister of Works, Mike Onolememen and the Minister of State for Works, Amb. Bashir Yuguda would be in Lagos on Tuesday to inspect the bridge and thereafter officially declare it open and thank Lagos residents for their patience.
The bridge, which was scheduled to be opened on November 6 this year, would now be opened for use a week earlier because work was ahead of schedule, according to the work plan made available by the contractor.
