FG Targets 250 Exhibitors for Oil Forum

Chairman, Organising Committee of the 2012 Oil and Gas forum, Mr. David Adejuwon, has disclosed that Nigeria is targeting over 250 local/foreign exhibitors to participate at the Trade and Investment event, slated to hold at Onne, Rivers State from September 20 to 21.
Adejuwon, who is the Director, Trade in the Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment, disclosed this while briefing the media in Abuja, on the preparedness of his committee for the event.

He stated that the mandate of the committee was to organise an international Trade and Investment Forum on Oil and Gas to showcase the success story of the Onne Oil and Gas Free Trade Zone (FTZ) to attract more investors both locally and internationally.

The Chairman said that the committee had inspected facilities that would be put in place for the forum. “Also a lot of activities have been identified; timeline and assigning of responsibilities to various organisations essential to the success of the event have been outlined.
