President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the redeployment of five Federal Permanent Secretaries and appointment of another one to different Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoCSF), Alhaji Isa Bello Sali, announced the new postings in a statement signed Tuesday by the Deputy Director (Press & Public Relations), HoSCF, Mr. Tope Ajakaiye.
The new postings includes Mrs. Ibukun Odusote who moved from the Ministry of Environment to Culture, Tourism and National Orientation; while Mr. Taye Haruna, the outgoing Permanent Secretary, Police Service Commission (PSC) would now head the Ministry of Environment.
Others affected in the posting are Mr. Linus Awute, who would move from the Ministry of Interior to Mines and Steel Development; while Mrs. A. M. Daniel-Nwaobia of Culture, Tourism and National Orientation will take over from Awute at Interior
Also, Mr. Ossi George Afamefuna of the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (Special Duties) will move to the Ministry Women Affairs; and the only new appointment. Dr. Henry E.M. Akpan, will occupy the vacated post at the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (Special Duties)
The HoCSF has also directed that all handing and taking over formalities are to be completed on or before July 18.
