Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State and his Edo State counterpart, Adams Oshiomhole,  are expected to grace this year’s Press Week of the Lagos State council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).

While Oshiomhole will deliver a public lecture on the theme of the press week – “Nigeria’s Democracy and Insecurity: The Way Forward”, Fashola will be the chief host during the week-long event.

The event, which is expected to attract captains of industry as well as political office holders from different walks of life, will be chaired by Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State with Mr. Femi Falana (SAN), a human rights activist and Mr. Femi Adesina, a seasoned journalist/commentator and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of The Sun Newspapers discussing Oshiomhole’s paper.
