Governor  Babatunde Fashola

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, has called on civil
servants in the state to be more proactive, responsive and imbibe the culture of innovation and right work ethics to enhance the successful implementation of the transformation agenda of the state government.

The Governor who was represented by his deputy, Hon Adejoke Orelope Adefulire, made the call yesterday at the celebration of 2012 public service celebration in the state noting that public servants are very important and have crucial role to play in the implementation of socio economic development programmes of the country.

Fashola explained that it was in appreciation of the critical roles played by the public service in the life of countries that the United Nations initiated the public service celebration, which is celebrated all over the world.
