Radamel Falcao (R)
The Colombian, Radamel Falcao has assured that he will remain at Atlético de Madrid at least until the end of the season, and that he does not know "what will happen afterwards".
He was speaking at the Abu Dhabi Sports Conference, where he has just been named Globe Soccer Awards 2012 Player of the Year.
“I'm proud of the fact that big clubs are interested in me, but I'm happy at Atlético de Madrid and I have three years left on my contract.
“I'll stay at least until the end of the season. I don't know what will happen afterwards,” said the striker.
Falcao insisted that Atlético de Madrid "has made a great effort" to hold onto him this year, reports futaa.com.
“The only thing on my mind at the moment is achieving my objectives and those of my team. There is lots of speculation, but I don't think it will affect me,” he said.
