Lius Suarez scored twice for the Reds

Liverpool put their recent poor displays behind them, to turn on a three star performance against sorry Queens Park Rangers in London on Sunday.

A woeful display by the London side intensified their relegation fears as they were beaten 3-0 by a Luis Suarez-inspired Liverpool.

Hit the arm

Reds' boss Brendan Rodgers was absent from the game with a bug but Suarez twice capitalised on poor defending to put the visitors 2-0 ahead, via strikes in the 10th and 16th minutes. The game was effectively over at this point as Liverpool controlled possession.

QPR were denied a penalty when Adel Taarabt's free-kick hit the arm of Jordan Henderson, before Daniel Agger headed in Liverpool's third with 28 minutes gone, reports

Liverpool continued to control the ball and push forward and Steven Gerrard's had a shot destined for the net cleared off QPR's goal-line as the Reds won easily.

Liverpool are now nineth on the table and will be looking to push on from here, while QPR remain rock bottom of the Premiership and with that kind of performance they are likely to stay there.
