Chelsea players celebrate with goalscorer, Eden Hazard

BBC

Chelsea put the club's off-field troubles aside as they emphatically beat Norwich to continue to set the Premier League pace, while West Brom survived a late QPR rally to win 3-2.

At Stamford Bridge, John Terry and Ashley Cole started for the home side but they went behind when Grant Holt drove in a 15-yard shot.

Chelsea hit back with a Fernando Torres header and Frank Lampard drilled in an 18-yard shot to extend the Blues lead.

Juan Mata set up Eden Hazard to slot in a third before Branislav Ivanovic powered in Chelsea's fourth.

In other games, Swansea came from behind to snatch a 2-2 draw with visiting Reading, while Everton also needed a late goal to deny Wigan all three points in a 2-2 draw.

In the early kick off, champions, Manchester City kept their first clean sheet of the season as they beat Sunderland 3-0.
