International Coordinator of EPA, Dr. Adebola Olubanjo
To encourage a sustainable development in entrepreneurship businesses, the Entrepreneurship Promotions Academy (EPA) has awarded some outstanding entrepreneurs in the industry.
Speaking at an Entrepreneurship Conference to promote small and medium enterprises, tagged, “Pathway to Successful Business Ownership” the International Coordinator of EPA, Dr. Adebola Olubanjo, said the essence of the event was create employment, self reliance and let the youths have the future.
The conference, he added, was designed to look at ways of ensuring that businesses are established, well grounded and positioned for growth and continuity while avoiding failure and collapse.
He also noted that, this year, the entry level of exhibitors has been greatly reduced to enable greater participation and this will stimulate many of our entrepreneurs to showcase their innovations and products towards generating public awareness. While also thanks the sponsors for their kind gesture.
He said EPA is a non-governmental organisation aimed at training entrepreneurs for opportunities in the nation’s economy.
“We have been involve in training both national and internationally and we have different organization that has been participating. We go to communities to look into the welfare of the people and also graduate who have been trained to earn morning in local products, “he said.
The awardees included: President Master Energy Oil and Gas, Mr. Uchechukwu Ogah; Managing Director Stemco Limited, Gabriel Biter; Managing Director, Triacta Nigeria Limited, Mr. Elie Farhat, and Prof. Famous Izedonmi for their outstanding performance in the entrepreneurship sector as well a service to humanity.
Speaking on behalf of the awardees, Izedonmi, commended the tireless effort of the organisers to come up with such event.
