A-    Andre Blaze was born for TV! One of the most confident hosts on air. Always bursting with energy! Entertainment is definitely where he belongs.

B-    If Banky W wasn’t such a great musician, he’d be a greater writer! Have you read Banky’s blogs and pieces? His talents are thorough. Singing or writing, Banky is never going to be broke.

C-    What I love most about Choc boiz (MI, Jesse Jagz, Brymo and Ice Prince), apart from good music, is the way they act – like old money. There’s an understated opulence around them that shows true maturity; something other labels can learn from.

D-    The fact that Dejo Richard (Monalisa Chinda’s ex-husband) could still find love in this lifetime, after what he did to the actress, goes to show how very low women think of themselves.

E-    ELOY (Exquisite Ladies of the Year) Awards was a good success this year. Here’s to Tewa Onasanya, publisher of Exquisite magazine, for swimming through and against the tides.

F-    Flavour has re-invented highlife music all by himself. It goes to show that whatever you can conceive, with enough passion and a hot body, you can achieve.

G-    Genevieve Nnaji remains Nigeria’s sweetheart. After all these years and all her many accomplishments as an actress, she still maintains her star quality.

H-    House of Dorcas took a clever step to endorse fast-rising actress Uru Eke as its style ambassador. Uru who featured in The Last Flight to Abuja and a regular cast in Catwalq series on DSTV, always looks stunning on the red carpet.

I-     §Iroko TV is a revolution. The idea was well thought-out and properly implemented. With unlimited access to Nollywood movies streamed online, it is playing a major role in driving African movies to the world.

J-    Jimmy Jatt is highly respected not only because of the years he has invested into the music industry but also because of his modesty and creativity.

K-    K-solo makes more news being a complete nuisance than he does making music.

L-    The phenomenon called Linda Ikeji is unrivalled.

M-    I here that Money Drop game show is about to hit local TV. I hope they get a good celebrity host, free of a mock accent.

N-    Niyola is probably one of the luckiest girls this year. From a numb career and an off-and-on relationship with Freestyle, she’s now on one of the brightest labels in town – EME – and is clearly doing good stuff with the platform. Sometimes, talent is not enough; you need the big boys to carry you on their shoulders.

O-    Unless Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde is going to be revealing the true challenges of being famous and married with four kids, multi-tasking, making movies and still looking good, plus a bit of her notorious star paranoia in her reality show, the whole idea will be pointless.

P-    P-square is one of the biggest music brands in all of Africa! And to think that too many times they have been accused of nicking people’s beats…life and its ironies.

Q-    Where is Queen Ure (Soul E’s ex)? The last I read of her were her tirade of lost-love, write-ups that seemed suicidal.

R-    There’s no movie Ramsey Noah appears in that his magic does not work through every minute of it. Over twenty years and still one of the best - just like Denzel Washington – understated awesomeness!

S-    You can build a whole career on the red carpet –ask Susan Peters (and I don’t mean that disrespectfully). Just be smart and chic about it.

T-    Terrestrial TV in Nigeria depresses me. Is it that hard to get good content?

U-    Uche Iwuji should please take her marriage away from blogs! How do you intend to keep a happy home when, five days after wedlock, your husband is on popular blogs trying to convince the world you didn’t hook him through diabolical means?

V-    I believe in Vector and I was happy to see him win the big awards in the rap category at the Headies this year. My best “Oleku” version was Vector’s. This is his moment, and he deserves it!

W-    W4’s really tight trouser collection is all I can think of under this alphabet.

X-    Too many music videos with X-rated content! Videos with lewd scenes and lyrics should have a time slot. It’s really annoying to think that one cannot sit and enjoy music with children anymore – alas a naked butt or a needless raunchy scene flashes by and ruins the moment!

Y-    Yemi Alade is hitting all the right notes in her career. The highest note for me will be that collabo with Dipp titled “rock your body”. I can’t get that video out of my head. It is steamy, it is sexy, but not trashy! If there was ever a sensual video done right, this is it!

Z-    Zion is the name of Toni Payne and 9ice’s son. Tuesday, December 4 was his birthday. Congrats, little man!
