Speculation
While speculation of interest from Liverpool excites the big Nigerian forward, Emenike will wait to see if he will have the opportunity to play in England come next season.
“It is paper talk at the moment, but a club like Liverpool makes people dream,” Emenike told Sky Sports.
“Growing up in Africa, you hear about the Kop and you want to score goals at that end. It would be amazing, like winning the Africa Cup of Nations.
“I have always dreamed of playing in the Premier League and if the opportunity arrives, I will be happy,” the striker remarked.
Emenike emerged the Africa Cup of Nations top scorer with four goals beating Ghana's Wakaso to the golden boot in the just concluded tournament in South Africa.
