Multichoice Nigeria, the largest pay entertainment company in the country, has launched its largest promotion ever.
This year’s promo, according to a statement by the company, is for both its DStv and DStv Mobile brands and will afford a “unique opportunity to provide more Nigerians the chance to become DStv subscribers at the cheapest rate ever for pay television in Nigeria”.
New and existing customers have the opportunity to win five Renault Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs), 10 return tickets to the forthcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2013 in Johannesburg, South Africa, 100 40 inch LCDs and 500 Walka 7 devices. Addiitional prizes include iPads and mobile handsets for those subscribers with DStv Mobile coverage.
This year’s promo offers potential DStv subscribers a chance to watch world class programs at a highly subsidised rate. In turn, loyal subscribers will have the opportunity to win prizes when they renew their subscription. According to the Managing Director of MultiChoice Nigeria, Mr. John Ugbe, the current promotional campaign aims to achieve two objectives of rewarding loyal subscribers for their patronage over the years while also enlisting more Nigerians into the exciting world of premium television content at the lowest possible cost and with a lot of gift items in line with the festive season.
“The good thing about our promotional campaign is that we have considerably slashed the entry barrier such that the cost of acquiring a fully installed DStv system with three months subscription is less than the actual cost of the DStv system,” he said.
