NOA Director General, Mr. Mike Omeri

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) Monday urged Nigerians not to thwart the ongoing peace negotiation and dialogue between the Federal Government and Boko Haram. NOA’s Director General, Mr. Mike Omeri, who spoke with journalists in Abuja, said the negotiation was what the Federal Government had planned to serve as a springboard for lasting peace in the country. 

He further added that since the long awaited dialogue had become a reality, it now behoves Nigerians to support it, going by the efforts of the various government agencies, religious leaders and institutions.

“And I want to appeal to Nigerians from all shields of opinions, whether you are a Christian or unbeliever, or whichever side of the divide you belong,
guide your comments against Federal Government effort,” he said.
