Senator Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja
The National Executive Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been advised to dissolve and re organize the Oyo State Executive committee of the party in order to accommodate all the leading lights of the party and provide space for the home coming PDP founder in the state, Senator Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja.
This was contained in a communiqué issued by the immediate past Chairmen of the entire 33 Local Government Councils in the state after a meeting held in Igboora Friday.
The chairmen resolved that the dissolution and reorganization of the state executive committee was the best option left for the party if it genuinely meant business and wants to win future elections in the state, with ease.
At present, the State Executive Committee of the party is unilaterally in the hands of former Senate Leader, Senator Teslim Folarin with the collaboration of Senator Hosea Agboola and Hon. Ajibola Muraina.
Out, in the cold are the immediate past Governor of Oyo State, Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao Akala, his deputy, Alhaji Taofeek Arapaja , the sitting Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, Oloye Olajumoke Akinjide with several other luminaries of PDP in the state.
