Democracy Day: Sambo Appeals for Peaceful Co-existence

The Vice President, Arc Mohammed Namadi Sambo, at the Special Juma’at Prayers in commemoration of the 2013 Democracy Day Celebrations and the Second Year Anniversary of the President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Administration, appealed to Nigerians to continue to be their brothers’ keeper.

Vice President Sambo who spoke after the Juma’at Prayers said,  “I call upon all Nigerians to be our brothers’ keeper and to continue to give this administration the support that is necessary for the achievement of our Transformation Agenda.”

Sambo, according to his spokesperson, Alhaji Sani Umar, further said “We thank Almighty Allah for again showing us this day that we are celebrating our democracy day and the second year of this administration. We thank Almighty Allah again for the continued granting of good health and guidance to our President, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and the whole administration and also for the successes that we have been witnessing in providing the dividend of democracy to Nigerians.”
