Delta State Government has collected about N48 billion from Internally Generated Revenue (IGR)  which   is within the  benchmark of its budget for 2012.  Executive Chairman, State Board of Internal Revenue, Hon. Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, who stated this at the weekend in Asaba when the state Commissioner for Information, Chike Ogeah, visited  him in his office,  said  the board had mapped out strategy to rake in N69 billion  but  the  signing into law the personal Income Tax Amendment Act 2011 by President Goodluck Jonathan   cut short their dreams.
