• Dana air had a plane last week that made an emergency landing. I bet money that this plabe was not satisfactorily repaired and was rushed back into service. I have never trusted dana airline nor the people who own it, i bet they don't let their own family travel by dana.

• This is a very sad news, 153 passengers dead just like that, it's only in Nigeria that news of plane crashes claims the lives of everybody on board without survivors. GOD save us from eminent catastrophes.

• My heartfelt condolences to the beavered families. May the soul of the departed rest in peace. I am afraid these crashes... are they just ordinary, an act of nature, or sabotage? We need a thorough investigation, though investigation in Nigeria never really reveals more than the authorities want the people to know. We are waiting for the release of the Manifest, to see the names of those involved in this unfortunate incident. God help the poor masses of this country.

• The ill-fated Dana plane had been under repair for several weeks and the airline's station manager protested its use but the Indian Mgt insisted it should fly.. The German stations are reporting that the plane which just crashed should never have taken off becuse of its write off state and that its a wonder the plane even made it to Lagos! Tears!! Tears!!! these Indian criminals should be arrested without fail. It is only here in Nigeria that we allow these Indians and Lebanese to ruin our nation!

• This calls for investigation. People gave testimonies in churches in Uyo last 2 Sundays how they escaped death on a Dana aircraft from Lagos to Uyo. Who knows if its the same plane that was deployed to Lagos-Abuja route without proper servicing.

• The Senate and the House committees incharge of aviation and transportation should set up a commission of inquiry immediately to ascertain the maintenace protocols of the airline industry and the kind of planes that should fly our airspace. The aviation regulators should also be probed as to the enforcement regimes of aircraft and what policies are in place to ensure compliance. The airline industry should be forced to disclose their operating policies and procedures to ascertain compliance. The media industry should investigate how old this plane is, when was it acquired, from whom and by whom and the model to ensure that we do not have just Keke and Pepe plying our skies or worse Molue. Everything should be up for questions immediately to avoid this kind of tragidy again.

• God when would turbulence and wasting of lives and properties stop in Nigeria where anything that comes make citizens sad? Nobody is even safe again. The rate of plane crash is now high. Many of these aircraft are not well serviced. Aviation industry should not too manage the 3rd hand-planes and helicopters we have for the sake of lives. What a bad occurrence! • The authorities should ensure that the airways is complying with all the regulations. This will include ensuring that regular maintenance are regularly and really carried out, plan is not too old, pilots are trained etc. What a great loss this sunday alone? Boko Haram also killed some in Bauchi today. May the souls of those that departed this dark sunday rest in peace.

Our government is doing very well in killing and reduce the population of our beloved country and i hope and pray God help us and safe us from the hands of the blood striking politicians. • Which one will we accept, 147 or 153, the plane took off from Abuja or it took off from Lagos. Even the broadcast stations who are suppose to air it live to the people are busy broadcasting irrelevant shows on the Tv stations while CNN is carrying it live. When will we start doing things right.

• As a pilot, I have flown into and out of Lagos several times. You cannot depend upon the radar being operational. You have serious problems with radio communications. High density traffic. Put it all together and add some weather and/or mechanical issues and you have a recipe for disaster.

• Nigeria will always be nigeria no matter what. German stations are reporting that the plane which just crashed should never have taken off becuse of its write off state but it actually took off, that nigeria for everone, i belive it has to do with corruption, how i wish all them corrupted politicians were all loaded up in that same plane...

• the whole world is laughing at us ,in response to emergency ,three hours after the crash they could not have access to the main scene ,when accident happen we all remember fire service, but please were they fully equipped to fight fire after the first exhaust water hydrant it will take them another hours to refill , no hydrant pipe line to connect water but we all depend on GOD to deliver us ,if we fail to do the right things which were the basic safety equipment and training more will still come ,we nigerian knows how to cry for our love once ,but are we ready to change,those that have gone will never be brought back, the question is who is nest ,christ is the hope of glory.

• We must as Nigerians, be strong willed, especially in times like these. Every nation of the world has got such trying times as the ones we are faced with at the moment. The plane crash was a mere accident which could have happened anywhere else. In other countries, planes crash too-ours is not the first. We only pray it does not re-occur. It is rather unfortunate that this is happening to Dana air. In recent times, Dana air has emerged one of the best domestic airline operators in our great and beautiful country. Only 6 days ago, I wrote the management of Dana air praising them for their on-board quality service delivery as well as their take-off and landing expertise. It is a pity the airline is experiencing this set back which I pray never happens again. We may have an enormous population of people in Nigeria, but the life of each of us is so highly valued that I sometimes weep for the loss of the life of a suicide bomber who ignorant of what his life is meant for, takes it in a bid to carry out the wish of his non patriotic instructor. My heart goes out to the families of these fallen nationalists and friends of our dear nation; and also to the staff and management of Dana air and the leadership of our beloved country, Nigeria. Let us take heart and allow God to heal our many wounds. Amen. We shall remain ever green and white.

• RIP.RIP.RIP
  People spend everyday tearing the fabric of society apart, then a sudden calamity and its where is that society to share with in sadness. Not too long ago thisday awards was hosted by international war criminals responsible for deaths of innocent people in thier new old middle east project.
  
  We dont morn anymore overhere, in a world of the wicked, you have to very catious about entartaining thougts of sorrow. Call back all the war criminals that hosted thisday award maybe they can share in the morning.
  How can you morn the death of 153, on a platform that celebrates the career of those who have murdedred 100's of thousands. And planning more as we speak.
  
  Take it or live it, the rules have changed, and so has the game. The body dies and soul is eternal, move on.We cant morn here.

• Do we have an emergency rescue team to even talk of an organized one. hours after the fatal crash, their was still no organized rescue on site..................... this is a cause for alarm.............
  WHAT THEN ARE WE THINKING OR CONCERNED ABOUT? Not prevention, not rescue, it it only cure that we are not even up to, we have to fly our citizens out for medical attention...... Then what. ....... its so sad............. Oh!!! my country. Nigeria........ Wake up from your deep sleep, Wake up.
