The Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) has expressed dismay over the negative remark made against its national leader by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs, Dr. Doyin Okupe for volunteering his concern on the general insecurity in the counry
.
The party in a statement said its attention has been drawn to the utterly vitriolic response from the Presidential aide to General Muhammadu Buhari’s statesmanly response on the armed attack on the Emir of Kano, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Ado Bayero.
The statement issued Thursday by CPC's National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Rotimi Fashakin said it does not speak well of the President to allow his aides to lambast a former Nigerian leader for volunteering his concern on the general insecurity in the country.
