Justin Bieber leans in for a kiss from Selena Gomez at the Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles, seemingly laying to rest claims the couple had split up

They arrived separately, giving ammunition to reports they had gone their separate ways.
But Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez put rumours of a split to bed tonight as they shared a kiss inside the Teen Choice Awards ceremony in Los Angeles.

The couple, who sat next to each other, also put on an affectionate display backstage after Selena had performed with her band, The Scene

The group won a surfboard awards for Choice Music Group and their songs Who Says and Love You Like A Love Song.
Selena, 19, was also named Choice TV Actress and Choice Female Hottie.

'This is for all of you guys. This isn’t mine,' she told the crowd as she accepted the award.
The Monte Carlo star looked stunning in an ivory strapless dress as she arrived at the awards show.

She posed alongside her band members from Selena Gomez and The Scene, as well as fellow Disney star Demi Lovato.
Meanwhile 17-year-old Justin - dressed in an leather waistcoat, bow tie and shirt - arrived alone, before having his photograph taken with model Tyra Banks.

The Sun newspaper had claimed Gomez ended things with Justin because she didn't approve of his hip-hop music friends.
The Wizards Of Waverley Place star, who has been dating the Baby singer since the start of the year, was said to be worried about the influence his new friends were having on him.

In recent weeks, Justin has been spending more time publicly with Sean Kingston, rapper Lil Wayne, and singer Chris Brown who has a new song with the Canadian teenager.
