A Non Political, non Governmental Organisation, “The Foundation for Sustainable Peace and Conflict Resolution” has expressed amazement at the spread of terrorist attack in Nigeria and blamed inaction of some State governors to check the trend for the present state of affairs. The Foundation in a statement said that the refusal of some governors to reign in their domain and stop the carnage has fortified their position that leadership was a greater part of the problem of peace and development in the continent. Programmes Coordinator of the Foundation, Princelyn Oduenyi regretted that the menace of terror groups like Boko Haram was on the increase by the day inspite of huge security votes appropriated by governors in those States and called for an immediate change of ways to arrest the ugly trend. “Amazed at the trend  that continuous terrorist act is growing in Nigeria, especially in the northern region of the country, the Foundation has found it very unacceptable and embarrassing . The inaction of some State governments  in check-mating this ugly act of terror as is perpetrated on daily basis by some group called Boko Haram, despite huge security votes they allot to themselves as Chief Security Officers of their various States annually is suspect..
