Enugu Rangers are through to the first round of this year’s CAF Champions League on account of a walk over. ‘The Flying Antelopes’ media officer Foster Chime told MTNFootball.com that CAF have sent an official letter to them stating that they have endorsed the walk over they recorded in a preliminary round, first leg tie and the expulsion of their opponents Sporting Clube do Principe from Sao Tome and Principe, who failed to show up.
“We have received a letter from CAF on Wednesday telling us that we have qualified for the next round of CAF Champions League after we walked over Sporting Clube do Principe, and that CAF have expelled the Sao Tome and Principe team from the competition,” Chime told MTNFootball.com
