After several months of silence by the producers of the Best of Nollywood Awards, the town is now agog with the gist from this preparations process for this year’s edition of the awards.  Best Of Nollywood CEO, Seun Oloketuyi,  revealed that while top players in the industry like Wale Ojo, Tonto Dikeh, Joseph Benjamin, Funke Akindele and others have gotten different nominations, the duo of Nonso Diobu and Mercy Aigbe would be this year’s host.

Oloketuyi further hinted that there are a few surprises this year and he would rather want to keep it to himself and his team, but he is ready to play ball again. In his words, “This year’s edition would be different and that is one of the reasons for our silence but I can tell you we are ready to do it again. I know many still haven’t gotten over our choice of Nonso Diobu and Mercy Aigbe as hosts but our reasons would be shown at the awards ceremony. We have got lots of surprises but stakeholders, practitioners and investors, should just watch as the event unfolds.”
