Kaduna bombing
No fewer than 30 different Igbo youth groups rose from an emergency meeting in Enugu Monday threatening to commence reprisal attacks on all northerners in the South-east, if the Federal Government failed to checkmate the increasing spate of bombings of churches in the north.
This is coming even as the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), South east chapter Monday equally expressed dismay over the frightening dimension which the activities of the Islamic sect, Boko Haram, has assumed in the country, especially the bombing of churches in some parts of the North almost every Sunday vowing to declare war against Muslims in the area.Chairman of the CAN in the zone and Anglican Bishop of Enugu , Rt. Rev. Emmanuel Chukwuma, said the way and manner the members of the Boko Haram are detonating bombs at Christian worship centres was worrisome.
