On the 22nd July 2012 at the Ikeja City Mall, Alausa, Lagos, Nigeria saw the launch of the first black|Up stand-alone shop outside Paris. The Launch gathered together special guests and celebrities in Lagos to a day of makeup fever.

Also featured at the event were live makeup demonstrations by a team of make-up artists headed by international Celebrity Makeup Artist and Creative Ambassador of black|Up, David Coranson. Highlights of the day included special beauty presentations by professional models as well as guests being treated to an overflow of champagne and finger foods.
