Chairman of Jama’are Local Government Area of Bauchi State, Alhaji Adamu Aliyu has explained that eight people kidnapped in a dawn raid on the Setraco Construction Company are expatriates.

Alhaji Adamu Aliyu who disclosed this while speaking with newsmen in Bauchi Sunday said “among the workers kidnapped, there is one from Britain, one came from Greek, one Italian while the remaining five are Lebanese among them a woman and a girl”

The Chairman described the attack which took place around 2.15am as very unfortunate, and advised residents of the area to remain calm and co-operate with the security operatives in order to fish out the culprits.

Apart from the attack on the construction company, gunmen also attacked two police stations and a prison in the state.
