Aremo Olusegun Osoba
The official logo of the much-publicised Barry Day 2013, in which the former governor of Ogun State, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, is expected as chairman and Prof. Kunle Lawal of the University of Ibadan as guest speaker, has been unveiled in Lagos.
The unveiling ceremony was one of the many scheduled media blitz planned to herald the Barry Day celebration of the late music icon, Dr. Sikiru Ayinde Balogun aka Ayinde Barrister.
The logo, which was commissioned by the Ayinde Barrister Legacy Club; the brain behind the Barry Day 2013 event, was set against a background of gold, wine and black, which, in essence, means ‘the celebration of a golden life’ that the late Fuji musician lived.
Barry was also garbed in a blazer, casting him as global personality, a contemporary thinker and philosopher.
Amongst dignitaries at the unveiling ceremony were the chief executive officer, MMCC Group, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, and Akogun Gani Kayode Balogun Jr. Others were Barrister Fausat Abosede from the Presidency, Abuja; Engr. Wasiu Popoola Bamidele, the local organising chairman, Engr. Wasiu Popoola Bamidele; and Alhaji Mosadi Nasiru ‘Kareem of the Kwara State House of Assembly. The unveiling was performed by the President, Ayinde Barrister Legacy Club worldwide, Kayode Adejumo-Bello.
