Nou Camp is Barcelona’s home ground

Barcelona has almost concluded plans to embark on a pre- season tour of Asia when the current European season ends.

Barcelona, who restricted their preseason plans for 2012-13 to Europe after the difficulties that followed their foreign preparations in 2011, will visit Thailand, China and Malaysia in a reported three-game tour.

'80 million fans'

Spanish newspaper, Mundo Deportivo, reports that the club were set to take this tour to a region where they have an estimated 80 million fans last summer, but for Euro 2012 and the change in Coach seeing a change in plans, reports futaa.com.

Barca, who have a friendly against former Coach Pep Guardiola’s new side Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on July 24 lined up, are understood to be set for games in Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and one from Beijing and Shanghai in late July, early August.

The Catalans are also set for a further preseason date yet to be arranged, as part of their sponsorship deal signed with Qatar Sports Investment.
